2123 Light Blue Hard Hat Aerosol 500ml, Rust-Oleum
Description

Hard Hat Top Coat Aerosol Spray 2100

Rustoleum Hard Hat Aerosol Topcoats 2100 is a fast-drying short oil soya alkyd based on lead and cromate free pigments.Rustoleum Hard Hat Aerosol Topcoats 2100 spray paint can be used for small maintenance or touch up jobs. Theoretical coverage 2.5 m2 per aerosol spray tin.Rustoleum Mathys Hard Hat Aerosol Topcoats Paint 2100 is available in 500 ml.

More paint in the can, resulting in a higher coverage : 3-4 m2 One HARD HAT aerosol equals up to 2-3 standard aerosols.
A higher film build without drips or runs, in one go. Twice the opacity of cheaper paint sprays (saving a cross layer). Normal coverage in one pass. Quicker drying: 10-15 minutes.
Higher quality pigments for a longer gloss and colour retention. The tough flexible film resists chipping, cracking and peeling

1 SURFACE PREPARATION
Before use, read the instructions on the can and all specifics mentioned in the product datasheet (see www.ro-m.com). Make sure that the object is clean, degreased and completely dry. Ensure that enough ventilation is available by opening windows, doors etc.
2 SHAKE THOROUGHLY!
Shake the can up and down before use for at least 2 minutes after the rattling of the mixing balls is heard. If the mixing balls are not rolling freely, turn the can upside down and gently tap the bottom of the can. Although well-known, only few users actually shake the can well before use.
3 TEST BEFORE USE!
Each aerosol paint performs differently due to the hardware, thickness of the paint inside, propellant, etc. Therefore before spraying the actual object, test spray the can to determine spraying distance, the speed of application, etc.
4 MOVEMENT AND DISTANCE
The secret to achieving even coverage is keeping your wrist locked. Keep the can parallel from the object at 20-25 cm and move the can back and forth, creating equal passes.
5 START AND END OUTSIDE OF THE OBJECT
Always start spraying just outside of the object and make a straight pass that ends outside the object again. Do the same when going back make sure to overlap the strokes by around 50%. This way an equal coverage is created, avoiding drips at the sides of the object.
6 CREATE CROSS LAYERS (MULTIPLE THIN COATS)
Create cross layers (apply coats first horizontally and vertically). It's better to apply multiple thin coats with some short drying time in between than one thick coat right away. Make sure to shake the can between applying different coats.
7 CLEAN THE NOZZLE AFTER USE
To clean the nozzle after use, always turn the can upside down and spray until transparent propellant comes out. It may look like a waste, but it prevents blocking of the aerosol, making it available for future use again.
